FHS team wrapped up their second tournament at Evergreen High School in Vancouver last night, where they competed against 12 other teams--from Washington and Oregon--with a total of 108 competitors attending the tournament. I'm thrilled to announce our team had a wonderful time, and scored very well, with placements as follows:
Alina Horjesi placed 1st in "Original Spoken Word Poetry"
Trent Prose placed 2nd in "Humorous Interpretation"
Zoey Beutler placed 3rd in "Humorous Interpretation"
Patricia Calderon placed 3rd in "Lincoln-Douglas Debate"
Jlynn Vessey placed 2nd in "Original Spoken Word Poetry" and placed 3rd in "Informative"
Trentston Pope competed in "Impromptu" and Lyndon Unger also attended both debate and speech events.
