Eight of our nine speech and debate competitors have officially advanced to the state tournament! Students have qualified for the following events at state:
Spoken Word Poetry: Jlynn Vessey, Trentston Pope, Zoey Beutler, Alina Horjesi, Alvaro Martin-Mendoza, (Isabella Hayworth is our team alternate)
Informative: Patricia Calderon-Weed
Humorous Interpretation: Trent Prose
Impromtu: Trentston Pope has placed as alternate for District Four
Thank you for all your support! This is an OUTSTANDING accomplishment for a first year team! I am so beyond proud of the hard work and dedication this team has put into this season! Nationals Qualifier is on March 6th and 7th, followed by state on March 19th-21st!
