Student Led Conferences are October 20th through October 23rd. Reach out to your student's advisor if you don't have a conference scheduled yet. We would like to celebrate 100% attendance with all families.
As the quarter is getting close to ending, we'd like you to encourage your students to attend academic support next week on Tuesday 10/20, Wednesday 10/21 and Thursday 10/22 from 12:30-3:25. Reach out to the front office if you'd like more information.
The Scholastic Book Fair will also be returning to Forks High School on October 19-October 23rd. Come check it out in the FHS library!

FHS Families-Forks High School is excited to offer our Learning Coach Program, designed to provide students with an additional layer of support as they work toward academic success.
Learning Coaches meet briefly with students each week to review grades and missing assignments, identify upcoming deadlines, prioritize schoolwork, and develop strategies for organization and time management. Students may be invited to participate when additional academic support and accountability would be beneficial. Students typically work with a Learning Coach for a six-week cycle, after which progress is reviewed to determine whether continued support is needed.
We are grateful for the partnership of our Spartan families as we work together to help students build the skills, habits, and confidence they need to be successful.

This is a wonderful opportunity for students to connect with prospective employers, college representatives, and military recruiters. Students are encouraged to dress in business casual attire to make the most of this experience and practice their professional skills. We are excited to provide our students with this valuable opportunity to explore their futures and make meaningful connections!
At Quillayute Valley School District, we're always looking for ways to improve communication and make it easier for families to stay informed. We're excited to introduce Apptegy Attendance Pro, a new way for us to communicate with you about your student's attendance.
Beginning Monday, September 14th, Attendance Pro will be our first morning notification when your student is marked with an unexcused absence from school.
📱 Here's what makes Attendance Pro exciting: You can reply directly to the text message with information about your student's absence. Your response will be shared with our attendance staff, making it easier for you to quickly provide details about why your student is absent.
At the end of the school day, if an absence still needs to be excused, families will receive a notification through Apptegy Alerts, which is our current method for absence notifications.
📞 Please make sure we have your current phone number on file! If you need to update your phone number or would like to add a cell phone number to your student's records, please contact your child's school building. Having an up-to-date phone number will help ensure you receive these important attendance notifications.

Skyward completed a major update over the summer, which included a change to the Skyward website address.
The Skyward links on our websites have been updated. To access Skyward Family Access, visit the Forks High School website https://www.qvschools.org/o/fhs and select:
Menu → Parents → Skyward Family Access
or click directly on this link: https://www.qvschools.org/o/fhs/page/skyward-family-access.
If you are using the Skyward app on your phone or other mobile device and are having trouble logging in, your password may have expired. Skyward passwords expire every 90 days. Passwords cannot be reset through the app, so you will need to reset your password by logging into Skyward through a web browser, typically on a laptop or desktop computer.
