Just a quick reminder that there will be no school tomorrow or Monday as we enjoy the extended weekend.
As we celebrate Honor Roll, attendance achievements, state qualifiers in cheer, wrestling, powerlifting, and speech and debate, cheer on our basketball teams, and prepare for The Wizard of Oz, we have so much to be grateful for at Forks High School.

School Picture Retakes - Wednesday, December 3, 2025
If your child missed Picture Day on October 27 or would like to have their photo retaken, school picture retakes will take place the morning of Wednesday, December 3rd.
If you already ordered photos but your child wasn't at school on picture day, you don't need to do anything. Your child will have their picture taken December 3.
If your child is having retakes, please have them bring their original photo packet to school on December 3 to return to the photographers. There is no cost for retakes unless you are planning to keep the original photo packet too, in which case you will need to place another order for the new photos using the link below.

If you order from the link above, a photo will be taken of your student on December 3. These orders must be made by 10pm the day BEFORE picture day.

Follow the Yellow Brick Road! Auditions for the Wizard of Oz Musical will be on Wed. Nov 19th and Thurs. Nov. 20th at 3:30pm. Audition packets are in the main office. We need onstage talent and backstage artists & tech crew. Join us somewhere over the rainbow!

There will be a Peninsula College Field Trip to visit different programs offered at Peninsula College on 11/18. Depart at 8:45am and return at 2:00pm. If interested, students can sign up at the front office or counseling center by 11/14. See the flyer for more information!

FHS families-1st quarter ends this Wednesday on 11/5! Our next athletic grade check will also be 11/5. Academic support is available before and after school to students that need help with work.

Our LINK Leaders and 9th-grade students will once again be participating in Scare Off Hunger, a fun community food drive where students “trick-or-treat” for non-perishable food items. All donations will go directly to the Forks Food Bank to support local families.

2025-2026 School Pictures
School pictures will be taken on Monday October 27 at Forks High School. A make up day will be scheduled later. Picture packets are available at conferences or in the office.

QVSD will be offering an opportunity for student athletes, along w/ parents, guardians, coaches & staff to attend an evening talk w/ Sports Nutritionist Guest Speaker, Nick Lemke, RD. He will be presenting on Sunday, October 26, 2025 at 5:00 pm in the FHS Commons. If you're interested come on out & join in at no cost.

FHS Families- this is a reminder that during Student Led Conferences, students are on a half day schedule with a release to lunch at 11:25. Buses will depart at 12:20. Half days are Monday-Thursday with no school on Friday.
As the quarter is ending, I'd like you to encourage your students to attend academic support on Monday 10/20 ,Tuesday 10/21, Wednesday 10/22 and Thursday 10/23 from 12-3:25. Reach out to the front office if you'd like more information.
