June 12: 4th Quarter Honor’s Beach Field Trip
June 13: 8th Grade Completion/Dance: 6:00/7:00 (Aux Gym/FMS Cafeteria)
June 14: High School Graduation: 5:30 pm (FHS Spartan Gym)
June 15: Last Day of School: Half Day for Students- 8th graders do NOT attend.
Quarter Three Ends Friday, April 11: Please communicate with your student’s teacher to ensure that assignments/assessments are turned in on time.
Academic Support: FMS offers a number of opportunities for students to get additional support with classwork within and outside of the school day.
Daily: Each grade level offers academic support with a certificated teacher and a paraeducator during 1st period 8:15-8:59.
Tuesdays: 3:30-4:30 pm in Ms. Streutker’s Classroom (Transportation provided by arrangement- Contact Kala Jackson at extension 256)
Wednesdays: 7:30-8:10 am in Ms. Hunley’s Classroom
Wednesdays: 2:30-3:30 pm in the Paraeducator Support Room
Thursdays: 3:30-4:30 pm in Ms. Gingrich’s Room
Candygram Fundraiser: The 7th grade class will be running a Spring CandyGram Sale.
This year we will be able to accept online orders and payment (More information to come).
$1.00 per CandyGram with a choice of Chocolate or Fruit-Flavored
You can send it with a specialized message for one or multiple students and/or staff. All orders will be due by 3:30 on April 18th. CandyGrams delivery TBD.
TRACK Sport: It’s not too late to sign up to participate in TRACK. Call our office for more information.
SCHOOLWIDE/CLASSROOM Expectations Review: We ask that you help us reinforce our schoolwide expectations. Students need to be reminded and/or retaught expectations after being out of school for a week! Our teachers will be reviewing expectations all week. We expect students to be SAFE, RESPONSIBLE and RESPECTFUL. These expectations help provide a positive learning environment at school. You can go to our web page to get more information about our expectations and discipline procedures.
