👋 Welcome Back!

We are excited to begin a new school year at Forks Middle School. Our mission is simple: We empower ALL students to succeed. We look forward to partnering with families to foster a safe, engaging, and successful school year.

💻 Chromebooks

Students will receive their Chromebooks during the first week of school. Please remind your student to take care of their device and charge it nightly. Damaged or vandalized devices may result in fines. A charged Chromebook is essential for classwork and assessments.

📵 Cell Phones & Electronics

To support a safe and focused learning environment, cell phones, earbuds, and smartwatches must be put away during class time and in bathrooms. If electronics are out during these times, they will be confiscated and a referral will follow. Please help reinforce this expectation with your student.

🧠 i-Ready Diagnostic Testing

Starting September 8, students will take math and reading diagnostics. These assessments help us identify where students may need extra support or additional challenges. Encourage your student to do their best—accurate results help us meet their learning needs!

📈 Progress Reports

Beginning Wednesday, September 17, students will bring home progress reports every two weeks. Please take time to review them and contact teachers with questions. Students with two or more F’s will be required to return their progress report with a parent/guardian signature.

🥤 Energy Drinks

For student health and well-being, we ask that families not allow students to bring energy drinks to school. These drinks can impact focus, behavior, and overall health. Please encourage water or healthier alternatives instead.

📝 Paperwork Reminder

Please return all beginning-of-year paperwork as soon as possible so we have accurate contact information for your family.
📌 AUP Form: Students must return the Acceptable Use Policy form promptly to avoid losing network access for their Chromebook.
